Just back from the fresh mountain air of Boone North Carolina where healthier living is in abundance. The simple pleasures of spending time with family, relaxing and laughing, watching daddy build a wooden play table, making chairs, cooking with organic ingredients, craft time, listening to music and enjoying life…

Another baby is on the way and soon to be big sister Olive is very excited!

 

After some encourage on our behalf to showcase the cat, Ensign, we find out this is a big no NO!

As the outsiders it’s pretty tough to withhold ANYTHING when you see this face. Mommy and daddy might disagree!

Finger painting fun!

We love it when customers come to us with creative shoot ideas so we were right on board when The Herricks came to us with some fun ideas for bump and family photos. Mrs Herrick is due in a week (eek!) and her little boy was very excited to be a big brother. We had a fun-filled shoot as he played finger painting with his mommy and daddy and made a big fuss of our studio pet – Chunk the giant rabbit. The family wore white shirts that they printed with hand prints for keepsakes and Mrs Herrick let the new baby join in by having prints on her ‘bump’.There were smiles aplenty as they made a mess with the paints! The messier the better we say. I think we had as much fun as they did!
